  • The Youth Excellence Performing Arts Program (YEPAW)
The Youth Excellence Performing Arts Workshop (YEPAW), a nonprofit organization dedicated to encourage youth to lifestyles of excellence, has partnered with Akron Public Schools (APS) and the Office of Community Relations to offer extended after-school programming in four local high schools – Buchtel, East CLC, Kenmore and North. YEPAW’s Institute program offers workshops in dance, drum line, voice, visual art and drama to students ages 12-18 in the APS district, enriching youth through collaborative teamwork, goal-setting, measurable results and workshop presentations. Additional youth opportunities include the annual YEPAW Summer Workshop and Leadership Program. For more information, contact YEPAW at 330.786.9601; or visit www.yepaw.org.
